The day Community Cohesion approached me for an interview I was overwhelmed with happiness and joy because I have been waiting long for a opportunity to do what I love. I have come to know what CC stands for and I knew it is where I belong, because we all say we want to make a difference but it all depends on how you do it and Community Cohesion does not just talk about making a difference, they go out and make the difference.
Since I was a little girl I have been dreaming about bringing change in our community and to help women, children and men to get out of abusive homes; Community Cohesion gave me the chance to do exactly that. The fact that I see change in our clients makes me proud to be part of this organisation and makes me feel more determined to give my utter best to serve our communities and help victims be survivors of Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence.
