Growing up in Lavender Hill, one of the most violent communities in the western cape I always knew that I was different and that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives through development and empowerment so that they can become independent and self-sufficient.
Working as a Social Auxiliary worker, conducting the Social Crime Prevention Programme for Community Cohesion I got the freedom and the platform to do just that. Just like the motto says “Not for, But With’. Working together with the client in order to bring positive change within themselves so they can share their stories and empower others.
